Emile Dufraisne is the founder of John Brown's Army and is a character featured in Tom Clancy's Elite Squad.

He is unlocked by default during the game's tutorial.

Biography[]

Born to wealth and privilege, Dufraisne nevertheless wanted more. The founder of the domestic terror group John Brown's Army, he tried and failed to obtain red mercury in order to detonate a nuclear blast in New York harbor. Haughty and defiant even after his capture, he nevertheless remains a logical genius able to plan detailed operations that run clockwork precision.

Dufraisne has no love for Sam Fisher, whom he regards an having personally betrayed him. Beyond that, he appreciates his role on Elite Squad as being better than prison, and he is careful not to jeopardize the freedom that comes from acting as part of the team. His revenge, he’ll take later.

Red Mercury
(Faction Perk)
2 Soldiers - Once deployed, a red mercury powered laser is fired at a random enemy, damaging them for 75% HEALTH.
3 Soldiers - Additionally, when only 3 allies remain, the laser is fired again at the enemy with the most HEALTH.
5 Soldiers - Additionally, the laser is upgraded to CONFUSE the target for 8 seconds (cannot be resisted).
Intimidating
(Trait Perk)
2 Soldiers - While above 75% HEALTH, allies are intimidating to the enemy, receiving +30% WEAPON & ABILITY POWER.
3 Soldiers - Increased to +60% WEAPON & ABILITY POWER.
5 Soldiers - Increased to +120% WEAPON & ABILITY POWER
