Guild

An example of a Guild in-game.

Guild is a gamemode featured in Tom Clancy's Elite Squad. Unlocked at level 3, it allows players to join guilds to group up with other players. Players may create their own guild or join another, provided that it is not full or set to private. Each guild may have a maximum of thirty members.

The Guild features a chat window which allows members to message one another and request soldier Intel. Only one request can be made every 24 hours. The guild also features a leaderboard which ranks each player based on their skill ranking, Intel donation, and war points. The leader of each guild can promote members to the status of officer to denote their place within the guild.

Guild Wars[]

Guild Wars, also known as Territory Wars, is a feature of the Guild that allows guilds to compete against one another in battles. To participate in a guild war, a player must first own a full level 20 squad of soldiers. Only sixteen members of a guild may participate in a guild war.

Overview[]

To start a guild war, a player must be either the leader or an officer within a guild. Additionally, the guild must have five members who own a full level 20 soldier squad. As with the Arena, the guild is given a rank each season which progresses when matches are won against other guilds. When a season ends, all members of the guild will be granted rewards based on the guild's rank such as soldier Intel, Order Currency, Cash, etc. Participating in a Guild War will also award players with Territory War Keys which can be used to obtain Territory War Ordnance Boxes.

Guild Wars are broken down into seasons. Each season lasts two weeks and has a featured soldier which is rewarded per war and at the end of the season based on the Guild's rank. Guild Wars has two phases: Enlistment and Combat. Both phases last 24 hours.

Enlistment Phase[]

During the Enlistment phase the guild will collect Intel to unlock and upgrade soldiers to use during the Combat phase. These soldiers are continuously rotated as season rewards.

Each member of the guild will have five attempts to fight in War Zones which rewards Intel which is used to unlock and upgrade soldiers. The guild may only used soldiers in the Combat phase that have been unlocked during the Enlistment phase.

The Enlistment phase features ten war zones. Each War zone is labeled with the following letters:

  • C - Common
  • D - Defender
  • A - Attacker
  • S - Specialist

Each war zone has three soldiers available to obtain Intel from. All war zones are locked except for C-01. To unlock the other war zones, guild members must use Assignment Passes which are obtained from Basic O.R.Bs. The cost of each war zone increases as more zones are unlocked. Any member of a guild may unlock war zones. However, caution should be taken when unlocking too many war zones. This is because participation in each war zone may become too spread out which may result in not enough Intel being obtained for a soldier to be used during the Combat phase.

Each war zone contains five different missions, each with increasing difficulty. Completing missions will reward Intel for soldiers of that zone. The amount of Intel obtained is determined by the difficulty of the war zone.

Once enough Intel is obtained for a soldier, they will be featured in the War Company menu. Guild members may continue to gather Intel for unlocked soldiers to increase their star rating. soldiers unlocked during the Enlistment phase are only used during the Combat Phase and are not unlocked for each individual guild member for use in other gamemodes. The War Company will be reset at the end of each war. In order to proceed to the Combat phase, the guild must unlock at least five soldiers. If not, the Enlistment phase will continue repeating until five soldiers have been unlocked.

Combat Phase[]

Once a guild has proceeded to the Combat phase, they will be pitted against four other guilds. Each members will be given the opportunity to fight in Assault Battles which will increase in difficulty as they are won. The skill rating of each enemy in these battles is determined by the average skill rating of all five guilds in the war. The level, gear, and weapons of the soldier's used in the Combat Phase are reflected by what each guild member has currently equipped for that soldier in their personal roster.

Each guild member will have five Assault Battles to complete. A defeat in a Assault Battle will deplete a Lifeline . Depleting all three lifelines will leave the guild member unable to continue in the guild war. Should a guild member win a battle, they will be rewarded with Territory War O.R.B. Keys and Assault Points for the Guild's war score.

  • 1st win - 2 points
  • 2nd win - 4 points
  • 3rd win - 6 points
  • 4th win - 8 points
  • 5th win - 10 points

Seasonal rewards

The guild with the most Assault Points at the end of the Assault phase will be declared the winner. Final rewards for each guild war are based on the guild's ranking during that war. Additionally, a MVP Leaderboard is featured with all players that participated in the war. The top five players will receive extra rewards at the conclusion of the war. Points on the MVP Leaderboard are calculated by the sum of the skill rating of all enemies that that player defeated during the war.
