Born in Nagoya, Japan, Team Rainbow’s Yumiko Imagawa specializes in a diverse range of traditional and modern combat techniques. She has trained around the world in pursuit of expanding her arsenal of breaching skills. A lifelong student of Kyūdō—a form of Japanese archery—she was a member of Japan’s Special Assault Tactical Unit, before going abroad to train with SAS, FBI SWAT, and GIGN. Her nickname Hibana translates to "fire blossom", referring to her precision use of projectile explosives to breach walls.
Elite Squad's offer to join the team appeals to Imagawa’s drive to perfect her specialist abilities. Forever the devoted student, she considers ObtainR's defeat as another skill that she has yet to master.
