Jon Ming (Simplified Chinese: 琼明/Traditional Chinese: 瓊明, Qióng Míng) is a Triad boss, a member of John Brown's Army and is a character featured in Tom Clancy's Elite Squad.

He is unlocked with 100 Intel which can be obtained from completing Objectives milestones or Ordnance Boxes.

Biography[]

The leader (or Dragon Head) of the Lucky Dragons Triad, Ming is a complicated figure. On one hand, he sent agents to infiltrate Third Echelon to obtain intel he could sell to Russian spy operation The Shop. On the other, he reneged on the deal with the Shop and saved Sam Fisher's life, albeit for reasons of his own.

Family matters deeply to him, as he will do anything to protect his ailing mother in Hong Kong. In fact, it was only once he was shown that Elite Squad had prevented an attack on Hong Kong that he agreed to come aboard and join the teams. Ming is quiet and reserved, but capable of extreme, stunning violence once he decides to act. A thoughtful tactician, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty when the time comes.

Fires a Dragon Breath round at the current target. The round BURNS all enemies in a medium line, causing them to run in FEAR for 4 seconds while dealing 80% ABILITY DAMAGE to them over 7 seconds.

When a teammate is STUNNED, immediately SILENCES the enemy who applied it for 3 seconds and damages them for 20% ABILITY POWER.

Red Mercury
(Faction Perk)
2 Soldiers - Once deployed, a red mercury powered laser is fired at a random enemy, damaging them for 75% HEALTH.
3 Soldiers - Additionally, when only 3 allies remain, the laser is fired again at the enemy with the most HEALTH.
5 Soldiers - Additionally, the laser is upgraded to CONFUSE the target for 8 seconds (cannot be resisted).
Enduring
(Faction Perk)
2 Soldiers - While allies are below 40% HEALTH, they are able to endure the harsh situation and receive +30% DAMAGE REDUCTION.
3 Soldiers - Increased to +50% DAMAGE REDUCTION.
5 Soldiers - Increased to +75% DAMAGE REDUCTION.
